SPECIAL EVENTS FOR 2025

Windjammer Days in Boothbay Harbor
Tuesday, June 24 & Wednesday, June 25
We offer several different boat trips which give the best views of these beautiful sailing vessels as they sail into the harbor and more.
BOAT TRIPS:
- Photographer’s Special – 12:15pm. Hosted by professional photographer Michael Leonard aboard the BALMY DAYS II. 1.75 hour trip looking for that perfect angle while cruising among the Windjammers as they sail into the harbor.
- Meet the Windjammers as they sail into the harbor-12:00pm. This 1.5 hour trip aboard the NOVELTY is narrated and will get you right in close to the sailing vessels.
- See the Windjammer fleet at anchor-1:45pm. This 45 minute narrated trip aboard the NOVELTY meanders among the Windjammers after they are at anchor on the inner harbor.
BAY LADY SAILING TRIPS
- Tuesday, June 24 -4:30pm, 2 hour sail into Linekin Bay for a first look at the Windjammers at anchor.
- Wednesday, June 25 -12:00pm, 1.5 hour sail meeting the Windjammers as the sail into the harbor.

SUNRISE PHOTOGRAPHY LIGHTHOUSE CRUISE
Saturday, September 6, 2025
This is a 2-1/2 hour trip on the BALMY DAYS II leaving at 6:00 am to sail around the Boothbay Region. You will see at least 4 lighthouses in the early morning light as you take in the scenic New England Shoreline. Maybe you’ll even get to spot a gull or a fox on the way! Your host, photographer Michael Leonard, will offer tips and advice for your photography adventure.

MAINE OPEN LIGHTHOUSE DAY – MONHEGAN ISLAND

Climb up the light towers and check out the museums in the old lightkeeper’s houses. For information on all the lighthouses participating in Maine Open Lighthouse Day, go to American Lighthouse Foundation.

MAINE OPEN LIGHTHOUSE DAY at MONHEGAN ISLAND LIGHT:
Book now! This is an all-day trip to Monhegan Island, leaving at 9:30 am and arriving back in Boothbay Harbor at 4:15 pm. You will be on the Island for approximately 3-1/2 hours. Be sure to book both your OUTBOUND and RETURN trips. The museum in the lightkeeper’s house and the light tower will be open. Feel free to enjoy the rest of the island with its hiking trails, lunch places, art galleries & studios, and quaint gift shops.

MAINE OPEN LIGHTHOUSE DAY – BURNT ISLAND
Saturday, September 13, 2025
Enjoy an hour or so on Burnt Island. Climb up into the light tower. Explore the lightkeepers house. Enjoy the views from the top.
- Water taxi service(15 minute ride) begins at 10am and runs every half hour until 1pm.
- Returns start at 11:15am and run every half hour with a final return at 2:15pm.
